Here we have the astonishingly beautiful Self Realization Fellowship Lake Shrine and Temple
dedicated to Paramahansa Yogananda, a yogi, guru and saint that is so very dear to me. His
book – Autobiography of A Yogi literally “woke me up” when I was 23 years old. Waves of
shakti energies moved up my spine as I read his book, and my energetic totality accepted
them like a beach accepts the waves lapping on to it. It happened overnight and I was never
the same. I was lucky enough to be able to study with a direct disciple of Yogananda’s within
a few days of reading his book and spent many years studying Self Realization. I am sure

most of you have read it!!!!!!!!! but if you haven’t, give it a go!!!
A dear and wonderful client sent me this excerpt below recently and it shares what

Paramahansa Yogananda wrote about flowers:
THE LANGUAGE OF THE FLOWERS
By Paramahansa Yogananda
God is the Master Painter. His infinite
beauty is suggested in the beauty of the flower.
Whenever we see a blossom we should think of
Him. God is invisible. Until we find Him through
meditation, how could we know anything about Him
if He didn’t speak to us through flowers and myriad
other lovely creations? Every day through His
creations He is telling us of His existence.

Flowers are given to us for a purpose.
Humbly serving all with their beauty, flowers say
more to us about God than anything else. Each
one brings a message that the Heavenly Father is right here.

Flowers have been used for centuries in the
temples of all countries, not just for decoration,
but to declare the fragrance and beauty of the Lord.
We may behold through them the smiling presence
of God. Each flower is a divine temple in which
the Divine One comes to us.

Vishuddha is the Sanskrit name for the 5th chakra and
it can be translated as meaning “especially pure.” As
you most likely know, CHAKRA 5 is also called the throat
chakra. When you are working on this chakra (we are
always dancing with one or more of our chakras as we
continue on our spiritual journey, for as we master one
chakra, another comes to dance with us and the dance
continues infinitely:), you will have challenges that will
inspire you to express yourself, become a better
speaker, translate information and fully integrate it and
express your own uniqueness.
Jean Houston says that we should “speak like angels
and use words as wands,” and this is a role of the 5th
chakra.
A more subtle aspect of the vishuddha chakra is that you
are introduced to lessons around becoming a better listener.
So if you are needing to become better at listening (and
reading between the lines as to what a friend or client is
REALLY saying you are dancing in the playground of the throat
chakra. And if there is someone in your life that doesn’t listen
to you, it is important to check to see if that is a mirror for you.
And remember, on a subtle level, chakra 5 is all about
listening to the divine voice.
Ultimately the 5th chakra allows you become the full
expression of your uniqueness. Like Monet’s paintings
that are completely recognized all over the world,
Monet represents someone who found his full
expression or unique signature. I have found that
“creativity blocks” are often released with work on
Chakra 5 and thyroid challenges, along with sore
throats and other voice “issues” are solved with

attention to the energetic workings of the 5th chakra.
Did you know that we have flower essences to support all 7
main chakras of our energetic totality? You can check them out at
www.spiritwatergardens.com. And of course, I can always tell you
which chakra area you are playing in and recommend the flower
essences to support this. Just reply to this email or call me at

light filled week.
